EXXON VALDEZ

This multi-billion dollar environmental disaster arose out of the tanker, EXXON VALDEZ, running aground in Prince William Sound, Alaska (which Jim had sailed through on the Keystone Shipping tanker ATIGUN PASS) spilling over a million gallons of oil.

ARNOT V. TELEDYNE CONTINENTAL MOTORS

Products liability case resulting in $5,500,000 for victims of a defective aircraft engine.

ROSS V. AA ROOFING

Co-counsel with James Johnson in recovering $750,000 due to alteration of a safety device.

RIVERS V. JOHN FAYARD FASTWAY SYSTEMS

Truck accident involving a herniated disc in the back resulted in a $615,000 jury verdict for plaintiff. $25,000 offer was made before trial.

DAILEY V. STATE FARM

Auto accident resulting in $500,000 result against State Farm after two year delaying tactics by insurance company.

NGUYEN V. STATE FARM

$480,000 auto accident case in Mississippi involving multiple victims.

ANDREWS V. PROVIDENCE HOSPITAL

$415,000 (reduced to present value) workers compensation verdict for nurse with back injury. No offer was made before trial.

C & C MARINE V. LORENZ

$300,000 verdict in federal court arising out of non-payment for services rendered.

BATES V. HARGROVE

Auto accident involving soft tissue knee injury resulting in $190,000 jury verdict. No offer was made before trial. Policy limits were $50,000. Progressive Insurance Company had to pay the excess verdict.

SPRINGSTON V. PITTS & SONS
